Take some time to educate yourself and decide if this is something that you want to care about. Don’t assume anything, put yourself in their position and think about whether or not you would want people to help you if you felt/were helpless. I have heard for years and years about the regime in Uganda and the invisible children, I thought that there was nothing that could be done and have basically ignored everything I have heard. But, I didn’t know who Joseph Kony was. Putting a single face on these gravely evil and persisting events makes justice seem more attainable.
This blows my mind. If like 30,000 people gave a fuck that my kid got a mohawk, I can’t imagine how many people would reblog or call the news if she was kidnapped and used as a sex slave. I can’t understand why people aren’t freaking out about this. Why is this is the first time I’m hearing this dude’s name? Please take the time to watch this and do what you can. This shit is not ok.

I was just about to post this myself, so glad to see it on my dash! I heard about this last year, but didn’t think protesting here would do much good over there. Guess it can! If all we have to do is make him famous, than make him famous we shall. Everyone please watch and reblog. We are all people, and we should care about one another regardless of our gps coordinates.

The Virginia Senate race is turning into quite the catfight now that Hank the cat has thrown his paw into the race.
